The project is in Progress and ultimate expecting goals are development of SLRCS management and governance, volunteer and youth development, development in human resources, physical resources development and resource mobilization.

»  Community Based First Aid in Matara district - 46,226 €
The project is in Progress and expecting goals are to strengthen the fist aid sector of SLRCS Matara in planning, developing, managing and monitoring, to increase the SLRCS first aid volunteers and first aid instructors, to strengthen the link with health authorities, to improve income generating first aid activities and to conduct FA services during minor and major festivals.

»  Owner-driven reconstruction 267 houses are handed over in Weligama division, Matara - 999,870 €
All the houses are owner driven so the people are living already there during construction. All the systems will be upgraded for partially and fully damage houses: greasetrap, septic tank, seepage trench depending from case to case.

»  56 single and double storey housing units for relocation are handed over in Mudiyanselagewatta, Matara - 849,635 €
Construction of 56 single and double storey housing units are finished and it includes water sealed toilets, sewerages disposal method, water collection/disposal method, access to safe drinking water, stored water, electricity power supply.

»  Handed over 51 double storey semidetached housing units in Gurubebila, Matara - 652,712 €
Constructed 51 double storey semidetached housing units and handed over on 7th February 2007. It includes water sealed toilets, sewerages disposal method, water collection/disposal method, access to safe drinking water, stored water, electricity power supply.

»  Renovation of buildings are finished in Weligama District Hospital - 424,654 €
Repair of DMO quarters, over head water tank, ward no.03, electricity system, sewage system. New construction of OPD building and corridor, four examination rooms, OPD dispensary, patient waiting are, drug store, dressing room, injection room, ETU, DMO office, Doctors, Nurses and minor staff rest room, four MO quarters, four other staff quarters, dental surgeon quarters, boundary wall with gate and a well. Renovation of old OPD building. Two clinic rooms with patient waiting area. Record room for MRO. General stores, Health education room, Office room, Staff toilets, Furniture and equipment. New construction and repair of waste water collection system and treatment plant.

»  Handed over the renovated building in Mirissa District Hospital - 131,403 €
Demolished the old labour room and maternity ward and constructed new MO quarters with separate water supply and electricity. Constructed boundary wall with a gate. Expansion/Renovation: Old ward; Room for laboratory with water supply facilities and attached toilet for patients. dental surgery with equipment, Two clinic rooms, health education room, toilets for patients and staff. OPD building; Two examination rooms, Doctors and minor staff rest room, dispensary, drugstore, toilets for patients and staff, Large patients waiting area, dressing room and injection room, room for limited emergency care facilities.
