  • Ambalangoda donor driven housing reconstruction project (107 units) - lkr. 130,000,000
Goal: To improve the quality of life for 107 tsunami affected families.
Objectives: To enable 107 tsunami affected families to recover better living standards with facilities.
  • Galle four Gravets, Habaraduwa & Hikkaduwa donor driven housing reconstruction project (90 units) - lkr. 90,000,000
Goal: To improve the quality of life for 90 tsunami affected people
Objectives: To enable 90 tsunami affected families to recover better living Standards
  • Hikkaduwa owner driven housing reconstruction project (320 units) - lkr. 270,000,000
Goal: To improve the quality of life for 320 tsunami affected families
Objectives:
  • To enable 320 tsunami affected families to recover better living standards.
  • Polathumodara housing reconstruction project (100 units) - lkr. 3,702,833 euro

    100 single storey houses are constructed with the collaboration of SLRT and 50% of the project cost is provided by the FRC

Goal: To improve the quality of life for 120 tsunami affected families.

  • Pottuvil owner driven housing reconstruction project (65 units) - 236,200,000 euro
Goal: To improve the quality of life for 65 tsunami affected families.
Objectives: To enable 65 tsunami affected families to recover better living standards with facilities.
  • Batticaloa owner driven housing reconstruction project (103 units) - 970,000,000 euro
Goal: To improve the quality of life for 103 tsunami affected families.

»  Potable water production & distribution by truck in Ampara - 5,742,528 euro

Goal: To increase the quality of potable water & to distribute the tsunami affected families By truck.


»  Occupational Health Centre in Habaraduwa - lkr 10,150,000

Goal: To replace the medical equipment & furniture damaged by the tsunami & to Render water & sanitation facilities.
Objectives: To increase & improve health care facilities & health services for tsunami affected people.


»  Sudarma College canal rehabilitation in Magalle - lkr 6,000,000

Goal: To Reduce the risk of diseases due to mosquitoes & to facilitate safety across the canal.
Objectives: To improve living & health conditions of tsunami affected people in Sudarma College in the around household areas.


»  Replacement of pipeline in Dickwella - lkr 25,000,000

Goal: Enable to increase the water flow transfer rate between Dickwella & Naigala & enable to supply water in continuity within the 4 identified distribution zones.
Objectives: To enable the water supply up to the standard of 180l /person/day to 20,000 people within the existing network of Dickwella, Naigala, Yvawatta & Kudawella.


»  Rehabilitation of Buenavista elderly home - lkr 5,300,000

Goal: To rehabilitate &improve the basic facilities for the female residents & mentally impaired population of the centre & to provide proper equipment & furniture to the centre.
Objectives: To enable the elderly & the mentally impaired people left alone after the tsunami to access decent conditions of living in the Buenavista.


»  Pelena Housing Projects with collaboration between FRC/SLRT

50 double storey houses were completed and handed over to families. All houses have 3 bed rooms, a living room, a kitchen, a shower, a toilet and an up stair terrace.


»  Kotawila Housing Projects with collaboration between FRC/SLRT

30 single storey houses were handed over to families in April 2006. The houses have 3 bedrooms, a dinning room with living area, a kitchen with a chimney, a shower & a toilet and a small garden.
