Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Leads Cleanup Campaign at Bopath Ella Waterfall

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) – Ratnapura Branch recently conducted a cleanup campaign at the iconic Bopath Ella waterfall. The initiative was carried out with the active participation of the dedicated youth volunteers, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.

Bopath Ella, is a popular destination among both local and international visitors. However, the increasing footfall has led to growing concerns about pollution and environmental degradation in the area.
