CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI)
Consultants for Capacity-Building Training Programs for Government Officers

 

The Managing Together Project (MTP), implemented by the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) with technical support from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Ministry of Environment, seeks to strengthen institutional capacity for sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience.

The Sri Lanka Society invites qualified individual consultants and institutions to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to design and deliver a series of capacity-building programmes and technical assessments for government officers, local stakeholders & communities in Mannar and Anuradhapura Districts.

Main Scope of Work:

Develop tailored modules and materials and Delivery of interactive training programmes or technical assessments, conduct pre- and post-assessments to evaluate learning outcomes, and preparation and submission of a comprehensive final report, including recommendations for institutionalization and policy integration where relevant.

 

Deliverables:

Delivery of a detailed agenda and training materials, Facilitation of training/assessment sessions using participatory methodologies, pre and post-training evaluation summaries and a final report consolidating findings, results, and recommendations with an evaluation summary report for each training.

Interested consultants/firms should demonstrate proven expertise in the respective thematic area.

Prior experience in delivering training/assessments for government officers, communities, or development projects, strong understanding of national and international frameworks (EIA, safeguards, biodiversity, sustainable tourism, GIS, etc.),  ability to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed time frames.
