From remote rural villages to dense urban centres, we deliver principled, inclusive humanitarian action tailored to the specific needs of community. Our strength lies in our volunteers. Backed by a powerful of approximately 100,000 members and over 6,500 highly trained, active volunteers, we are embedded directly within the communities we serve. When natural disasters, human induced crises, or emergencies strike, our volunteers are the first responders on the ground. Our work goes far more beyond than emergency response. SLRCS design and execute comprehensive development programs that help communities transition from surviving to thriving. Our expertise spans critical modern challenges, including: Climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction (DRR), Health care, clean water, and sanitation (WASH) initiatives, social inclusion programs.
