With thousands of people gathering to witness the magnificent procession, dedicated Sri Lanka Red Cross volunteers are on duty throughout the Perahera, ready to respond to health emergencies and provide assistance whenever it is needed.
From supporting the well-being of spectators and devotees to being prepared to respond to emergencies, the volunteers remain committed to ensuring a safer environment for everyone taking part in or witnessing the celebrations.
