1. First Aid Training for Volunteers of Red Cross

We provide first aid training for volunteers of our society to provide our first aid services to the people

1. First Aid Training for Volunteers of Red Cross

Duration: 14 Hours (Two days or can be conducted within two month period)
Eligibility: Students under 16 years and above 12/ Should be a Red Cross Member
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Examination: A practical and theory examination will be held for those who complete full course
Course Fee: Free for Junior Red Cross members
Certificate: Valid for 02 Years
Qualification: Can become a Junior First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at home, school, first aid camps to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others

2. Basic First Aid Training

Duration: 03 Days (08.30Am to 04.30Pm) or can be complete as 24 hours within 03 months
Eligibility: Anyone age above 16/ Junior First Aider
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Bone Injuries, Medical Emergencies, Poisoning, bandages and dressing, Casualty transport etc..
Examination: A practical and theory examination will be held for those who complete full course nationally in a day thrice per year
Course Fee: Free for Red Cross Youth Members, Active Members and volunteers
Certificate: Valid for 02 Years
Qualification: Can become a Basic First Aider/ will be able to fulfill most of the first aid requirement at home, school, first aid camps to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
Next Step: Advanced First Aid Training

3. Advanced First Aid

Duration: 05 Days (08.30Am to 04.30Pm) or can be complete as 40 hours within 03 months
Eligibility: For those who successfully followed and passed the basic first aid examination/ Health Practitioners (Doctors, Government Nurses, PHIs)/ Age above 18
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Bone Injuries, Hypoxia, Medical Emergencies, Poisoning, bandages and dressing, Casualty transport etc..
Examination: A practical and theory examination will be held for those who complete full course Nationally in a day at every year
Course Fee: Free for Red Cross Youth Members, Active Members and volunteers
Certificate: Valid for 02 Years
Qualification: Can become a Advanced First Aider/ will be able to fulfill most of the first aid requirement at home, school, first aid camps or anywhere to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
Next Step: Instructor First Aid Training

4. Instructor First Aid

Duration: 07 – 10 Days (08.30Am to 04.30Pm) or can be complete as 40 hours within 03 months
Eligibility: For those who successfully followed and pass the Advanced first aid examination/ Age above 20
Content: All the first aid teaching, training requirement
Examination: 04 type of test will be conducted such as practical, theory, training ability, general knowledge
Course Fee: Free for Red Cross Youth Members, Active Members and volunteers
Certificate: Valid for 02 Years (Can be renew by participating refresher training)
Qualification: First Aid Trainer – Level V

5. Types of Instructor First Aid Training

Level V: Junior First Aid Instructors
Level IV: Basic First Aid Instructors
Level III: Advanced First Aid Instructors
Level II: Senior First Aid Instructors
Level I: Master First Aid Instructors

2. Commercial First Aid Training

First Aid training for companies, industrial institutions, government and non government institutions and organizations, individuals, health practitioners etc..

I. First Aid for kids

Ideal for: Students of International Schools, Individual Children, Private Classes
Duration: 14 Hours (Two days or can be conducted within two month period)
Eligibility: Students age between 12 to 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Examination: A practical and theory examination will be held for those who complete full course
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a Junior First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at home, school, first aid camps to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
Next Step: Refresher Training after a year/ two Day training/ CPR training
Organizing Institution should provide: Training venue, handouts, transport for trainers and training equipment, stationery for participants

II. One Day first Aid Training

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs, Seamen
Duration: 08 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimise the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
Organizing Institution should arrange: Training venue, handouts, transport for trainers and training equipment, stationery for participants
Next Step: Refresher Training after a year and or any of below training

III. Two Day first Aid Trainings

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs, Seamens
Duration: 15 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimize the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
Organizing Institution should provide: Training venue, handouts, transport for trainers and training equipment, stationary for participants

IV. Basic First Aid Training (03 Days)

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs
Duration: 21-23 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimize the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others

V. Advanced First Aid Training (04 Days)

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Driving license expectorates, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs
Duration: 08 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 18
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimize the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others

VI. CPR Training

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Driving license expectorates, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs, Seamen
Duration: 06 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Will be able to give CPR
Organizing Institution should provide: Training venue, handouts, transport for trainers and training equipment, stationary for participants

VII. Trauma Training

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Driving license expectorates, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs
Duration: 08 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimize the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others

VIII. First Aid at Road Traffic Incident

Ideal for: Traffic Police Officers, Driving Licence expectorates
Duration: 08 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 16
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification

IX. Refresher Trainings

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Driving license expectorates, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs
Duration: 08 Hours
Eligibility: Age above 12 who has completed any of above training within recent two years
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimise the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others

X. First Aid Awareness

Ideal for: Companies, Garments, Government and Private Institutions, NGOs
Duration: According to the request
Eligibility: Age above 12 who has completed any of above training within recent two years
Content: Introduction to FA, BLS, Wounds & Bleeding, Fractures, Medical Emergencies, casualty transport, bandages and dressing
Certificate: Internationally recognized certificate will be issued – 01 year valid
Qualification: Can become a First Aider/ will be able to fulfill some first aid requirement at workplace, home, to minimize the risk of an incident or an a illness to save lives of people including family members, relations, friends, teachers and others
