(06/08/2013 – Maviddapuram, Jaffna) The SLRCS Jaffna Branch conducted a First Aid service program at Maviddapuram Temple on the 5th & 6th of August, 2013. (27/07/2013 – Ranna, Hambantota) – A blood donation camp was organised the by Hambanthota branch of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society as yet another humanitarian activity. The blood collected from the camp was donated to the Southern Regional Blood Bank. Over 60 generous blood donors participated and donated blood for this worthy cause.
(17/07/2013 – Susuhumpola, Kandy) Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Kandy branch organized a Blood Donation campaign at Kandy Suduhumpola temple with the support of Kandy Gravest youth division and other stakeholders participation. Branch youth members and branch officers supported for pre-arrangement such as finding a venue, publicity and coordinate with Kandy blood bank officials.
