Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Supports Ecological Restoration of Cascade Tanks in Medawachchiya

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, under the Managing Together Project, has commenced an ecological restoration programme in the Medawachchiya Divisional Secretariat Division, focusing on the rehabilitation of 15 traditional cascade tanks. The Managing Together Project is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, GEF, UNDP, IUCN, and the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society.
