Singapore Red Cross Crosses Borders in Partnership to Conduct 3-Day Media Training, Strengthening Sri Lanka Red Cross’ Emergency Response Communication through Photography, Videography, and Drone Technology

In a remarkable collaboration, the Singapore Red Cross conducted a comprehensive 3-day media training workshop, aimed at enhancing the communication capacity of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS). The expert-led training focused on three key areas of emergency response documentation — photography, videography, and drone operation  equipping staff and volunteers with vital skills to capture and communicate humanitarian efforts more effectively.

Hosted by the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society – Colombo Branch, the workshop brought together 35 participants from across the country who actively contribute to emergency and disaster response. This initiative marks a significant step forward in amplifying the voices of affected communities, ensuring their stories are heard.
