Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Assists Devotees During Sacred Exposition of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (Siri Dalada Wandanawa 2025)
The Sacred Exposition of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (Siri Dalada Dakma 2025), one of the most revered religious events in Sri Lanka, is being held from April 18 to 27, 2025, at the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. This rare and spiritually significant exposition draws thousands of devotees from across the island and around the world.

Amidst this spiritual event, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society – Kandy Branch has deployed its trained volunteer teams to provide First Aid services and emergency care to the large number of pilgrims attending the exposition. Recognizing the importance of maintaining public health and safety during such mass gatherings, the Red Cross teams are positioned in key areas around the temple premises to respond swiftly to any medical or emergency needs.
