Activities with Singapore Red Cross funding

In May 2016 for floods and landslide relief and recovery 

• 1000 nos – Bed Sheets 
• 1000 nos – Sleeping mats 
• 1500 pairs – Rubber slippers 
• 1000 nos – 12 piece school items for Grade 1 to 5 students 
• 1000 nos – 13 piece school items for Grade 6 to 11 students 
• 1000 nos – 26 piece kitchen sets 
• 250 nos – 9 piece baby relief packs 

Above items were distributed to flood affected people in the districts of Colombo & Gampaha 

Two relief aid delegates were sent to Sri Lanka by the Singapore Red Cross. They engaged in relief aid distribution in Gampaha and Colombo districts. The Singapore Red Cross Society also provided 50,000 USD for relief and emergency work of SLRCS.
