There were 83 numbers of children from the area who were present for dental assistance given by school dental therapist’s Mrs. W.A.D.D.S. Gangana and Mrs. H.K.R. Subashini.

A demonstration programme was also conducted by these dental therapists to educate these children on the proper maintenance of their teeth.

The Red Cross Megoda Kolonnawa Unit assisted the dental health camp to make this event a success.

The overall aim of the programme was to provide an opportunity to improve oral health of those who have less opportunity to attend a dental clinic either in the government or private sector.
