A volunteer expressing views on RFL
SLRCS Tracing Service has been operating a Restoring Family Link (RFL) service in order to help the families whose members separated by migration, disasters and conflict. This program is implemented with the support of International Committee of the Red Cross and the network of more than 186 Red Cross and Red Crescent national societies throughout the world. Recently an awareness program was conducted for a group of people who are getting ready to go abroad for employment. FULL STORY

AMPARA BRANCH
Branch donates water tanks for schools in Maruthamunai division which do not have proper water facilities for school children.
NUWARAELIYA BRANCH
The branch conducted HIV prevention and Adolescent Reproductive Health program for 60 teachers and 300 school students at Maskeliya on 9th November 2009.
POLLONNARUWA BRANCH
The equipment worth Rs. 1.9 million were distributed strengthening the Community and School base Disaster Response Teams.
